Best for

Best for coloured, UV-resistant floor and wall finishes in schools, offices and retail spaces where water-based application is required.

UraForce WB58 brings aliphatic polyurethane performance to water-based application. The pigmented polyurethane dispersion crosslinks with its PUR hardener into a film with excellent abrasion resistance, low dirt pick-up, good water repellence and pencil hardness above H — a working finish that dustproofs and protects the substrate.

It is supplied in colours including grey, and adheres to mechanically prepared concrete, metal, stone and limestone. Typical duties are UV-resistant coloured coatings for concrete floors, hygienic washable coatings for walls, and non-yellowing topcoat finishes across commercial and educational interiors.

Mix ratio is 9:1 by weight with a pot life of 1–2 hours, applied by brush or roller in a minimum of two coats.

The practical details

Rayson UraForce WB58: questions people ask

Why choose WB58 over a solvent-based PU?

Water-based application: it can go into occupied and enclosed spaces without solvent odour, while keeping the abrasion resistance and UV performance of aliphatic PU chemistry.

What colours are available?

It is supplied pigmented, with grey among the colours offered. Confirm the current colour range with our sales team.

How many coats does a floor need?

A minimum of two coats by brush or roller, stripe-coating edges first.

What is the coverage rate?

Confirm coverage with our technical team when planning quantities.

How should the hardener be stored?

Sealed, dry and under cover — the PUR hardener is moisture-sensitive and has a shorter shelf life than the base component.
